The State of Organ Donation in the United States of America via a GOOD and Column Five collaboration. The take away from this graphic is that donations have increased over the years but there is still a significant shortage of donors particularly in the renal department. As you might expect, the distribution of patients needing an organ transplant is skewed towards the older age bracket and is highest amongst the 50-64 year old population.
